This is a cost effective way to have your quilt long armed. You can choose from a variety of meander options to blending simple shapes into a unique motif for your quilt.
All free motion quilting is done free hand. This allows design elements in the quilt top to be taken into consideration.

Rulers are used to help outline or accentuate design elements in your quilt top. Free motion quilting is used to add details to quilt blocks and texture to the background.

This add on is a great option if :
you have limited space/tools.
the quilt is too large for you to comfortably maneuver.
you have never done this before and want to learn how. I will teach you!

I only machine sew binding to the quilt. I can attach one or both sides of the binding.
This add on is a great option if:
you have a light duty sewing machine.
the quilt is too large for you to comfortably maneuver.
you are not comfortable attaching the first round of binding.

Did you know your quilt sandwich can be assembled and thread basted on a long arm? All you have to do after is quilt it the way you want!
Long Arming Services: December 11, 2025 Update
The long arm is finally set up and I am warming up all the design options on some practice quilts. It has been great to be at the machine again.
Starting in January, I will be accepting four quilts a month, I need to balance completing a back log of my own quilts alongside client quilts.
Long arming and quilting services are only available only to Saskatchewan residents.
How to get your quilt to me:
La Ronge and area:
pick up and drop off at my place.
visiting La Ronge or need an excuse (it’s beautiful country up here!) Book your quilt with me ahead of your travel dates and I will fit it in while you are visiting family, hunting/fishing/camping, or hanging out your cabin.
South along the route from Prince Albert - Saskatoon - Regina:
Pick up and drop off can be arranged when I make trips back to Regina.
