Light Custom Quilting
Custom Quilting is a great way to enhance special blocks
The teapots are outlined using rulers and filled with a large floral object. The background is a simple meander that helps the quilting within the teapots to stand out.
This flower pot quilt has a combination of ruler work to outline and free hand, free motion quilting to fill in other spaces. Flowers were quilted into each pot and a flower garden motif into the solid blocks. A vine was added for the border.
This spools of thread quilt has sampler stitching in the piano key borders, an outlined thread spool and loopy meaner between the spools to look like thread coming off.
